The Call 07-07-07

For 3 days after my return from Nashville, I was completely speechless.  I could not, before today, even try to put into words the experience we had attending The Call  Nashville on 07-07-07.

 

For those who know me, speechlessness is not one of my problems!  However, I could not give a description, or even tell anyone about my experience until now. I am going to be processing this event for a very long time. Nothing will be the same. We have been released into a new age in the Kingdom. We have exercised our authority and taken our place as Kings and Priests in the spiritual realm.

 

70,000 people filled Titan stadium in Nashville for 07-07-07 and, from my vantage point, everyone was truly pressing into God for the business at hand. I witnessed very few ‘casual observers,’ as we pressed hard and deep into repentance upon repentance and prophetic proclamations one after the other for 12 solid hours. 

 

It was a day of God’s people exercising their authority en masse in the spirit realm, and I could sense an incredible amount of spiritual warfare being released as we came against the spirit of Baal and other ruling spirits. Several of our group saw the angelic activity and warfare over the stadium. Throughout the day, we were called to gather into small groups of 4 or 5 to take authority, to make decrees, and to pray over various strongholds to bring in revival. Whoever was around at the time became part of that prayer group and everyone was pressing in so strongly for revival. It was amazing to see 70,000 in an NFL stadium gathering into small groups to pray. More stadiums, Lord!

 

Most of the people I saw were adults over 30.  I am sure many of the youth were on the field, but the most striking aspect to me was their ‘pressing in’ and complete devotion to the ‘business’ of the day.

 

The day started with Senator Sam Brownback asking forgiveness on behalf of the U.S. Government from representatives of First Nations, the African American Community and Hispanics, and as forgiveness was given, we could feel the breaking of strongholds in the spirit realm.  I was sobbing with repentance for our nation, as were many around me. One of the most memorable scenes from this repentance phase was a former abortion doctor who repented to the Lord for the innocent blood on her hands. There was not a dry eye in the stadium.

 

As Lou Engle led us into repentance for our nation and prophetic decrees to break spiritual strongholds, it was hard to leave our seats and get out of the sun for fear of missing something. However, the extremely hot temperature caused some to be overcome from heat exhaustion, and for that reason, we thought it prudent to take a break. Fortunately, none of our group was adversely affected.  For 12 hours in LP stadium, we took care of some major business in the spiritual realm.

 

We had incredible worship with Eddie James and later in the day from Lindell Cooley, who absolutely rocked the house as he brought in the “Fire!” Michael W. Smith followed Lindell and led us into healing and an opening of the wells of the Latter Rain.

 

The most incredible event of the day took place as evening fell in the dimly-lit stadium.  Ray Hughes took the platform and said that whenever something major happens in the spirit realm, there is a sound that is connected with the shift.  He said that this is a day of the release of the triple sevens -- 7 days, 7 trumpets, 7 shouts. God is a God of 7's -- 7 seas, 7 days, 7 trumpets by 7 angels, 7 Spirits of God. This is the day when that sound is released and everything changes.

 

In the book of Judges, the 7th book, 7th chapter in the 7th verse of scripture, Gideon released a sound with 300 men with shofars to bring victory over the Midianites.  Our sound of agreement began with the drawing of our “swords” as everyone in the stadium jingled their car keys. What a sound of preparation! Then, 300 men with shofars who had been especially selected and placed under authority marched into the stadium down the center aisle towards the stage. On the platform, Ray Hughes designated Ricky Skaggs with a triple-twist shofar to release 7 blasts, and on the 7^th blast, we released a shout as the 300 shofars were released at once and the shouts and praise of the 70,000 in the stadium lifted out of the earth realm into the spiritual atmosphere.  

 

 It will take weeks and possibly months to download and comprehend everything that happened to us on that Saturday. Every life was changed.

 

The Holy Spirit was still so evident on our bus trip home. At our first rest stop, we had a fire tunnel in the parking lot for the youth in our group. Some were prophesying over the youth, others were laying on hands and ministering to them. Afterward on the bus, testimony after testimony was given by young and “olders” alike about our personal experiences that were applicable to the day. Several of us had seen in the spiritual realm the spiritual warfare that was being released in the heavenlies and the major angelic activity associated with The Call Nashville.

 

As the Spirit continued to move in our group, we began to have divine appointments. While praying for each other over the bus PA system and taking authority over issues, the bus driver requested prayer for his daughter-in law who has cancer. We had a few cancer survivors on board, one of whom had recently gone into remission from stage four cancer. She came forward with her testimony and with that authority, we claimed healing for the daughter-in-law.

 

After another rest stop, several women were hit with holy laughter and the joy of the Lord. Our Baptist bus driver had to get an explanation of how the Holy Spirit sometimes moves on people. He really got an education as he drove us! He said he had never seen a group so full of the Spirit.

 

Of 56 seats on the bus from Mobile, AL, 53 were filled. The Lord put together a great group of people, and divine appointments were fulfilled in our new “family” which was birthed into the Kingdom. There was much healing on the bus as we were so broken over the events of Saturday and ministered to each other during the 7-hour drive home. We will never be the same.
