Israel Must Build - by Randy Demain
Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced plans to build up to 1600 homes in east Jerusalem. This is a hot spot which the Palestinians want as the capitol of a future state, a plan President Obama seems to support. Obama's support has strained relations with Israel and revealed that America has yet another politician who chooses to dismiss a number of important facts.
The obvious truth is the land of Israel is deeded to them by God through covenant strength and oath. A less obvious truth is the fact the Palestinians are none other than the biblical Philistines, the avatars of evil, God desired to have removed from the land of promise. The radical Palestinians are the remnant of the five lords of the Philistines of whom Joshua and others failed to drive out (Judges 3) that now accupy the Gaza strip and other areas.
It seems the world and America is ever pressing Israel to sign a peace treaty and recognize Palestine as a state. God spoke through the prophet Daniel about the process of wearing down the Saints, attempting to change the laws, times and seasons. This seems to be the strategy of many a world leader. The ultimate goal of the antichrist is to stand in the holy place and be worshipped as God (Daniel 9:26-27). In order for this to happen, a third temple, the tribulation temple must begin to be built. Enough of it must be in place, like in the time of Ezra, to preform sacrifice. This is troublesome beyond description that this could happen on our watch.
In the cunning deception of the antichrist spirit, we could forsee a peace deal that would allow Israel to build on the temple mound, rather than homes in east Jerusalem. We know the third temple must be built in order to fulfill prophecy, however, we do not need to allow Palestine to become recognized as a state in the proccess.
There is great authority when one owns ground, authority we must not give. Even though Obama and Clinton are pushing the Palestinian agenda, as Christians we do not need to agree or support these actions, rather choose to bless Israel, pray for her biblical peace and help her people return to their home land.
Let us bless Mr. Netanyahu, a born again Messianic Jew, who knows he must prepare and provide housing for his people the Lord is causing to come home. Let not the blood of Israel be upon our hands!
